The result of our ongoing work with Dan's Dahlias of Oakville, WA, as well as from the Pacific Southwest Dahia societies plus the 2009 ADS National Show in Everett, WA, our latest 2011 Regular Dahlia Calendar is similar to the two that precede it: two-sided, four-color printed, saddle-stitched in the middle and hole-punched for ease of hanging. Unfolded, it measures 11” x 17”.
The inside calendar pages are printed on 100-lb gloss text and feature frameable photos of ADS varieties, organized by form, with 13 large photos and over 30 smaller thumbnails. Just like last year’s calendar, it includes U.S. Holidays, plus new-moon and full-moon phases.
Every flower presented in the calendar is identified and classified; in anticipation of the new 2011 classification system of the ADS, all cultivars depicted bear as part of their classification both the 3-digit classification number in use to date (in parentheses) and its equivalent new 4-digit re-classification {in braces}.
The outer covers are printed on 100-lb. gloss-cover.
